Pattern Letters

Description:

    Pattern Letters are characters used in making foundry patterns for items such as plaques and signs.  These letters are made of metal so they are durable and may be used over again in other patterns if they are carefully removed.

Usage:

    These letters can be bonded to your pattern surface using adhesives such as super-glue or wood working glue.  If you choose a water based glue it may be possible to soak the pattern and have the characters loosen enough to be removed and reused.  It's also possible to use double sticky tape to hold them down, however the tape will have to be trimmed around each character to prevent sand adhesion.  They do not have brad holes for fastening.

    These letters are made of "White Metal", which is a low melting temperature alloy comprised of Tin, Lead and Antimony (See MSDS). They have the appearance of aluminum. 

    Letters are upper case only.  In addition to the letters A thru Z, and the numbers 0 thru 9, the characters - . , & are available.

Fonts:
   Sharp: The top of each character comes to a sharp edge. Slender, crisp font.
   Round: Much the same as the sharp font, but the top of each character comes to a rounded edge and the body is thicker. This makes it bolder in appearance.
